Symposium

On Tuesday, April 29, 2008, the campus will sponsor a day-long event at the Illini Union to showcase and celebrate the best of what students are accomplishing in collaboration with their mentors. Program overview:
9-9:45 a.m. Keynote address by Professor Dorothy Espelage, Department of Educational Psychology, and two former undergraduate researchers, Jillian Havard and Sarah Mebane: “Building Life-long Mentorship through Undergraduate Research Participation” (Illini Union 314 A/B)
10 a.m.-Noon. Morning Poster Session (Illini Union Pine Lounge) and Student Presentations (Illini Union 314 A/B and 210)
Noon-1 p.m. History Showcase (Illini Union 210)
1-3 p.m. Performances (Courtyard Café), Afternoon Poster Session (Illini Union Pine Lounge), and Student Presentations (Illini Union 314 A/B, 210)
3-3:30 p.m. Closing Remarks by Provost Linda Katehi (Illini Union Pine Lounge)
