Julian Parrott is Assistant Provost and Director the Campus Center for Advising and Academic Services. His responsibilities include directing the Division of General Studies, the advising hub for University of Illinois students who wish to explore their options before declaring a major. Prior to coming to the Office of the Provost, Julian served an Assistant Dean in the College of LAS and as the Director of the General Curriculum Center. He has a B.A. (Hons) from the University of Manchester, England, an M.A. from Western Illinois University, is ABD in History at the University of Illinois, and expects to complete an Ed.D. in Higher Education Adminsitration from the University of Illinois in December.
