Nan Goggin is an Associate Provost Fellow and Interim Director of the School of Art and Design, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Goggin’s practice extends from the printed book to virtual reality narratives. She is an award-winning designer and a recognized pioneer in electronic art. Goggin co-founded the Narrative Media program in the School of Art+Design, and is also one of the founding editors of the literary/visual culture magazine Ninth Letter. In 2004, Goggin was designated as a UIUC University Scholar for her exemplary creative work and outstanding teaching.
