Gutgsell Endowed Professor: Harris Lewin

Harris Lewin is Gutgsell Professor of Immunogenetics, with an appointment in Animal Sciences.  Professor Lewin was the founding Director of the W. M. Keck Center for Comparative and Functional Genomics, and is currently Director of the Institute for Genomic Biology.  His current research interest is mammalian comparative and functional genomics.  Professor Lewin is Associate Editor of the journal Animal Biotechnology and serves on the Editorial Board of Physiological Genomics.  In 2004, he was elected Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science.
